In today’s episode, I’m taking last week’s and diving a little deeper into how to use EFT specifically to release stress out of your body. Whenever we’re stressed, we slip into our Sympathetic nervous system, which activates our fight, flight, freeze, or fawn mechanisms. It releases cortisol, and brings inflammation into our bodies, shifts our emotional state, and a host of other things.
But using EFT can actually help us shift into our Parasympathetic nervous system and invite that rest, recovery, and digestion into our system.
