In the fast-paced, demanding world we live in, the effects of stress on our physical and emotional well-being can be pretty profound.
As someone who has personally witnessed the transformative power of holistic health, stress resilience, and plant-based nutrition, I am excited to explore with you the incredible connection between what we eat and how we navigate the challenges of life.
Have you ever noticed how stress can influence your food choices? Late-night comfort foods, sugary snacks, or quick and convenient but nutritionally lacking meals often become the go-to options. What’s interesting is that this relationship works both ways – the nutrients we consume can either exacerbate stress or act as powerful tools to reduce its impact. It’s a cycle that starts with what we put on our plates but extends to every aspect of our well-being.
Anxiety and depression are genuine emotions rooted in real experiences, but the role of nutrition in either intensifying or alleviating their effects is frequently underestimated. As a holistic health and stress resilience coach, I have consistently witnessed how proper nutrition not only affects physical health but plays a crucial role in emotional well-being. It’s a fascinating journey that goes beyond the surface, exploring how the foods we eat can influence our stress levels and, consequently, our overall resilience.
Enter plant-based nutrition – a powerful ally in the quest for stress resilience and overall well-being. Imagine embracing a 30-day journey that not only resets your metabolism but also nourishes your body from the inside out. This program is not just about following a plant-based diet; it’s a comprehensive approach that integrates guided breathwork practices and mindset coaching sessions to provide you with the tools to thrive.
Plant-based nutrition goes beyond the mere consumption of fruits, vegetables, and grains. It’s a lifestyle shift that involves making conscious choices to fuel your body with nutrient-dense, whole foods. These choices not only enhance physical health but also contribute to emotional resilience. The program I’ve designed incorporates the best of plant-based nutrition, breathwork exercises, and mindset coaching to guide you on a journey towards holistic well-being.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of stress and yearned for a transformative solution, I invite you to join me on this journey of plant-based nutrition for stress and resilience. Together, we’ll explore the science-backed benefits of nourishing your body and calming your mind. Stay tuned for insights, tips, and a deeper understanding of how your daily food choices can become a cornerstone of your resilience against life’s challenges.

Who better than to put my own story, front top and center. At the end of 2012, I was training for a fun 5K and ended up having to walk it. By the start of 2013, I was nearly unable to move. I was exhausted, fatigued, and riddled with health issues. At one point, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, another chronic fatigue, hypothyroid, leaky gut,
And I did what I do best: RESEARCH.
I researched and tried everything out.
I was my own guinea pig.
I sought out doctors, functional medicine, health coaches, books, trainings, inner healing, mindset work, trauma work, and so much more.
As I turned to a combination of joyful movement, whole food plant-based nutrition, and deep inner work, my body began to heal from the inside out: my energy began to rise, my mental clarity returned, and I even lost 40 pounds! Not to mention, started running half marathons and beyond! Now it’s my passion to help others heal from within and start thriving in life.

For the sake of clarity, here are the definitions that we will use for the terms ‘veganism’, ‘plant-based’, and ‘whole food plant-based’ here.
VEGANISM: “Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.” –The Vegan Society
NOTE: It does not necessarily mean “healthy” (Oreos are technically vegan)
PLANT-BASED: “Plant-based means food that comes from plants and doesn’t include animal ingredients such as meat, milk, eggs, or honey.” –Forks Over Knives (There are also alternative definitions exist for plant-based diets which focus on eating plants primarily, but may still include some animal products.)
WHOLE FOOD PLANT-BASED (WFPB): “A WFPB diet doesn’t include any meat, poultry, fish, dairy, or eggs. It’s not, however, the same as a vegan diet, which is defined only by what it eliminates. A WFPB diet is defined also by what it emphasizes: a large variety of whole foods. The term “whole” in WFPB describes foods that are minimally processed. This includes as many whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and legumes as you want. It also includes, in moderation: nuts, seeds, avocados, natural sweeteners, and certain soy or wheat products that don’t contain added fat (e.g., tofu).” –T.
