I’ve loved running for a long time, but I didn’t truly love it until I lost it. I know what it means to lose everything in more ways than one (injuries, sickness, fatigue, overwhelm, etc). In my studies, I’ve found that our bodies are resilient and able to heal and thrive when given the right environment. Are you ready to see your running thrive?
About coach kirsten
I am a holistic health and running coach with a major focus in helping people really learn how to heal and strengthen the whole body in a way that allows you to really thrive in your health. As a running coach, I focus on helping you connect with your whole body in order to create a body that really runs well.
Having experienced burnout and loads of injuries at one point in my health and running history, I really went after learning about functional movement, corrective exercises, understanding the mechanics of the human body and running form, as well as how nutrition plays a part in our body’s ability to recover and train well.
I hold certifications in running, running form, exercise nutrition, nutrition for healing the body, integrative nutrition, personal training, corrective exercises, and more.
I always offer a FREE initial consultation and would love to connect to see if we’re a good fit!
What to expect
I currently offer either a choice between a one-time session or a monthly coaching package.
ONE-TIME SESSION
The one-time coaching session offers a chance to receive immediate breakthrough and feedback.
These include the following based on your needs & goals:
- Form & gait assessment.
- An overview of your current training program.
- A full assessment of key areas that affect the “runner’s body” that include: mobility, stability, and strength.
- Recommendations for moving forward.
MONTHLY PACKAGE
The monthly coaching package is where you’ll receive the most support possible to help you on your way to becoming the best runner you can be.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Coaching calls (or in-person appointments depending on the need or location)
- Fully customized running training program
- Mobility workouts based on your needs
- Strength movements to compliment your running routine and goals
- Nutritional aide, recipes, and guidelines
- Mindset coaching to overcome blocks

Within a few months of starting I had started balancing out strength deficiencies and was learning that a lot of my issues were from not properly strengthening my body and a lack of flexibility. In May 2021 I ran the Bolder Boulder, which was an awesome experience. By September I ran in a 10K trail run and didn’t feel like I was going to die after running all those hills!
By November I had lost 35 pounds and was in probably the best shape of my adult life. On top of my running 2021 was probably the hardest year of my life personally. Kirsten taught me some life skills that saved me when I was at the end of my rope.
I am still using journal dumping and tapping to help me with whatever is trying to take over my brain. I will forever be grateful for Kirsten helping me both physically and mentally. I am able now to take was she taught me and apply it to my life. Live well and run free!
I have to say that whatever Coach K did for me has been GREAT, Moreover, Coach K helped me adapt the plan to my current running abilities. Also, I like that Coach K focused not just on running, but on overall fitness – we did strength, core, cardio, balance, and stretching/recovery ... and I am glad Coach K was able to provide a well-rounded program for me that included all aspects of fitness.

Kirsten saved my running!
I am now training for another 1/2 marathon and am putting in miles that I haven't been able to do for over 3 years! I am stronger than ever! My long runs are now up to 2 hours! She has helped with not only my running but with nutrition as well.
